What is a “Fresh-Hopped” Beer?

These are beers that have hops added to the brew directly after harvesting. I think thekitchn.com put it best in their article “The hops flavors are brighter, fresher, and more delicate than the perfumey bitterness we’re used to other hoppy brews. Think: fresh-cut grass, meadow flowers, and just-peeled citrus.” With the season upon us they have also put out 5 Fresh-Hopped Beers to try before the limited quantities are gone.
