Pumpkins out. Cranberries in?

Moving from one holiday (Halloween) to another (Thanksgiving) gives us a transition in fruits, pumpkins to cranberries. I don’t know about anyone else but I have never tried a cranberry beer. But I sure am interested now that I have seen one or two on shelves and even read an article featuring three from some northern breweries, up there in cran-country.

The featured beers are

Harpoon Grateful Harvest

New Glarus Serendipity

Sand Creek Cranberry Special

I would go so far as to say you could pair your Thanksgiving courses around pumpkin(if you can still find them) and cranberry beers! Seriouseats.com did all the work so jump on over to their site and have a look…
