Weyerbacher XVII – Saison
Appearance: Cloudy orange, thin diminishing head with moderate lacing.
Aroma: Citrus rind, pepper and smoked meat(messed up?)
Taste: First taste is super sweet & alcohol. Then the citrus kicks in mostly grapefruit. the sweet and sour is so extreme my eye is twitching.
Mouthfeel: Velvety consistency, almost no carbonation, longer than average finish with a heavy body.
To me this beer is way too sweet but some may like it. I feel it should be paired with something equally sweet or contrasting. -89/100-
