Cigar City Tocobaga Red Ale
Appearance: Cloudy burgundy, diminishing thin head and minimal lacing.
Aroma: Dark fruit, spicy pine … some passion fruit???
Taste: Toasty and sweet malt, dry and bitter hops with some grapefruit.
Mouthfeel: Crisp consistency, light carbonation, medium body with an average dry finish.
Great balancing act between sweet and bitter. This beer is complex enough to let you know it is there but subtle enough to share you palate, maybe with a thick bacon wrapped steak? Leaves with a nice menthol feeling in the throat. -90/100-
