BrewDog – Old World India Pale Ale

Appearance: Deep brown red(almost mahogany) thick creamy off white head, diminishes slowly.

Aroma: Sweet & tart, pine & strawberries, lots of citrus…extremely complex nose.

Taste: Sweet malt with hints of toffee and caramel backed up to sour and bitter grapefruit.

Mouthfeel: Silky consistency, round carbonation, medium body & a long wet then dry finish.

Being styled after “Old World IPAs” i was worried that the bitter flavor was going to suck my tongue out of my face, but instead I was greeted with a well rounded complex ale that i can give some love.      -87/100-
