Mahr’s Brau Christmas Bock
Appearance: Golden orange, fizzy quickly receding head.
Aroma: Leafy hops & floral yeast.
Taste: Biscuit, honey, toffee, tropical fruit and citrus.
Mouthfeel: Silky consistency, prickly carbonation, medium bodied, average wet finish.
This beer struck me weird. It tasted like a euro pale lager spiked with honey and toffee. It tastes nice but it missing some complexity. I really enjoyed it but it doesn’t seem to fit with most of the beers of the season. -80/100-
