On the Eleventh Day of Christmas My True Love Gave to Me

Great Divide Brewing – Hibernation Ale

Appearance: Dark reddish brown, foamy mocha head that recedes quickly.

Aroma: Big pine & roasted malt, coffee, toffee & caramel.

Taste: Sweet dark fruits, roasted coffee and caramel followed up by pine and grassy hops. Mild bitter finish.

Mouthfeel: Silky consistency, round carbonation, medium body and an average finish with a wet hop tail.

The descriptor spells it out perfectly ” Robust & malty with a balanced and complex character, hop profile with a warming character.” They forgot to mention ease of drinkability and great food pairing qualities.
