Cigar City Marshal Zhukov’s Imperial Stout
Appearance: Black as the deepest night in WWII Stalingrad… Deep rich chocolate head that lasts and lasts with super creamy consistency and spotty lacing.
Aroma: Chocolate , espresso, caramel, roasted malt and smoke.
Taste: Chocolate & espresso off the bat then rolls into honey toffee that’s when roasted malt makes it appearance and it follows all the way into the finish like dark chocolate.
Mouthfeel: Viscous consistency, delicate carbonation, FULL body with a lengthy finish.
I wish I had some German chocolate cake to pair it with(which is kind of funny since WWII Russians and Germans didn’t pair well) Extremely filling but in that good I want to share some way. Gives a similar warming feeling to wine but i attribute that to the 11% ABV. Also this thing pours like a milkshake and gives a mustache to match. 95/100
