Flying Fish – Grand Cru Winter Reserve

Appearance: Clear golden amber, creamy average head with spotty lacing.

Aroma: Sweet white fruit, clove and sweet oats.

Taste: Sweet malt & oat, spice (clove and possibly allspice), citrus peel, alcohol and a bit of earth bitter on the finish.

Mouthfeel: Crisp consistency, tingly carbonation, full body with a quick dry finish.

In my opinion it tastes like an oktoberfest mixed with a traditional dubbel and a hint of pale ale. A lot of flavors here spiked with booze which seems a bit heavy for the 6.9% ABV.
